When I first saw the brief for the fashion project I was unsure of how I was going to approach it as fashion wasn't one of my strongest points. So I started my research by finding information on 50 Fashion photographers and doing a timeline of fashion photography. This was a turning point for me as it showed me that fashion photography doesn't mean just being in a studio,
The big turning point was when I saw the work of Baron de Meyer. I saw how he used outside locations and back lighting this was something that appealed to me. This lead me to experimenting with contre jour and shallow depth of field.
I have also learnt that world events have a huge effect on how fashion is shaped and changed. For example the war and the shortage of fabric.
From this Fashion project I have learnt that collaboration's with other artist such as make up, models, assistants and designer is important in the fashion industry.
